Madalitso Chirwa is one of a class of African students learning agricultural practice and technology in a village in North China's Hebei Province. "We come here to China to learn at China Agriculture University and then we go to the innermost villages in China and educate the farmers on new techniques," the Malawian told People's Daily on Thursday. "We're also required after living with the farmers for a year to go back home and implement the same technologies. So basically we are bringing technologies from China back to Africa."
